I will be in New York City for almost a month this summer and I am very excited. I now delight in the humid city days when everyone else scrambles to find a place to stay OUT of town. That said, it does get hot.
My friend Laura sent me the link to this popsicle joint that has opened up on Carmine Street.
This may be a perfect refuge after going to the movies at the Angelika. Might need to try the coffee gelato dipped in dark chocolate

I read about PopBar in Shell's blog yesterday and literally drove past it today, pulled over right in front and ran in and bought a cream pop dipped in chocolate. Just like the on in the picture. It was amazingly good. Thanks for letting me know Shell!
